The gold in the duality

Last night was a vortex again for us.

We only got a little bit of sleep... I was at the best party I’ve been to in years. My beautiful husband was at home, taking care of our star-being child. You know... the girl who has deep conversations with the cosmos during the night.

In the brain fog of the 4th night of no sleep this week, I am reminded of the difference between being a Leader and being a Visionary.

The Leader in me validates the human experience. It says: “It’s okay to be tired. It’s okay to feel the weight of these dreams while navigating the exhaustion.” It acknowledges the emotions, the madness, and the pressure.

But the Visionary in me, the one who leads a movement and not just a business, looks at the same exhaustion and wonders: “How does this serve the mission?”

The Visionary feels all those things, but then they choose to alchemize them.

Because we know the emotion is not the destination. In fact, the messiness is actually the sign for the next chapter. That’s where the gold is! It’s in the deep knowing that this is happening for us.

It’s in the excitement of surprising ourselves, each other, and others while we expand our capacity and become masters in alchemizing these challenges into moments of cracking our hearts open to a deeper truth.
