BEING A WOMAN — IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR BODY

Research shows that women consider being slim more important than being successful or loved —
and that most girls are already dissatisfied with their bodies by the age of thirteen.

Why are so many women unhappy with their bodies?

Is it because our culture places such heavy emphasis on thin, angular shapes —
bodies that very few women naturally have?
Why has that become the ideal of the feminine form?

What happened to the aspects of our innate feminine power —
the ability of our bellies, hips, and thighs to carry and nourish life?
How did that sacred power disappear
from the modern idea of what makes a woman beautiful?

By striving for sharper, narrower shapes,
by feeling shame around our menstruation,
and by denying our deepest emotions,
we silence our intuition
and lose the connection — as women —
to the earth’s wisdom that flows through our bodies
and the natural cycles of life.

Do you feel the longing to reconnect with your body in a new way?
To learn to respect its wisdom,
to listen to it,
to treat it with tenderness instead of judgment?

To hear the messages it offers —
about your physical needs,
your deepest emotions,
and your natural inner rhythm?

In this two-day deepening journey for women,
we will bring awareness to our wounds and judgments,
so we can create space to see our bodies differently —
with warmth, care, and reverence.

We’ll rediscover the body as a source of wisdom,
a sacred home to our feminine knowing.

In an intimate and nurturing setting,
through creative, embodied practices and dance,
we’ll journey deeper into the woman we truly are.
